At least you will get something new when you get to read the regular dialogue options, no matter what clan you'll choose.Įach clan I've played so far had something that I enjoyed, so I'll give you a rundown. I did the same 'happy little mistake' and it was one of my top gaming experiences ever. Heh, first-time playthrough as a Malk, nice. Obviously that will make the game more easy but it would be just for fun anyway. So Blood Strike becomes even more useful since enemies won't know where the hell you're at and you can use Blood Theft to regain your blood pool. So that will also help also, I think there's a history you can choose to increase the damage as well.Įdit: if you want to cheat, you can use the console to get Obfuscate and you can use your Blood magic while invisible. You'll also find an item to increase your blood magic damage by 140% I think. Though if you pick Tremere you can't raise Strength, Dexterity, and Stamina above 4 (if you're using CQM with Camerallia Edition Lite, then you can't raise it past 3 including blood buff). I really like using Blood Purge + Blood Strike even though it's not necessary to do and wastes your blood a bit more. I forgot to mention Blood Purge (level 2) which is my favorite - makes anyone close to you puke up blood causing damage when they're vomiting. Problem is that it is pretty slow so most enemies will run away from your target before the explosion happens. Very useful against a group of enemies though. Level 5 - Blood Boil: makes one enemy swell up and explode and if there's anyone close to the target they'll blow up too.

It's supposed to absorb some damage but I never found it to be useful honestly. Though that's level 4 - level 3, however, is Blood Shield which I don't use much. Blood Theft is like the Suicide subdiscipline for Dominate except you get the enemies' blood and then they die. Though, with the Plus patch you get Blood Theft or whatever it's called which is, in my opinion, better than Blood Salvo (basically blood strike with multiple targets). With Plus you get a shitty cast animation so you can't really spam it. You can use Blood Strike and spam it like a weapon (careful not to drain your blood tho) but that's if you're not using the Unofficial Plus patch. I love playing as Tremere because of thaumaturgy.
